These panels are designed to be installed using standard construction glue rather than a peel-and-stick backing. Apply glue to the back of each panel, keeping it about 1 cm away from all edges. Then add a zigzag pattern across the center, spacing each line roughly 3–4 inches apart.

Standard construction glue provides a helpful window of working time before it completely sets. If you place a panel on the wall and realize it is slightly off-center, you will have a few minutes to gently slide and adjust it into the exact right position.

Are these panels suitable for renters, condos, or temporary installations?

These panels are intended for permanent installation using construction adhesive, which can cause damage to drywall if removed later. If you are renting or need a temporary design solution, we highly recommend mounting the panels to a temporary backing board, such as plywood. You can screw the plywood into your wall studs, apply the panels to the board, and easily remove the entire setup later with minimal drywall repair needed.
